Seems that one major problem with blogging is that you can't fake the dates like you can on paper tasks. Not that I neglected my first project that I introduced in my April 10th blog post. In fact, I completed close to 80 Thank-You cards, and delivered more than half of them within the next week. I even took pictures of the process. I just didn't get around to writing about it.
My wonderful excuse is this - At my last posting, I was 37 weeks pregnant with my second child, who arrived safely on May 1st. Up until that point, I was readying my house for the new arrival, as well as a visit from my Mum, and, well, just trying to get through the last weeks of pregnancy. Since then, I've been caring for my wonderful excuse almost non-stop, and giving whatever spare time I could find to my 4-year-old. Now, with the 4-year-0ld back at school, and the 3-week-old sleeping peacefully in a wrap strapped to my front, I can return to the tasks that I have been letting slide since, well, April 10th or so.
The best part about this wonderful excuse I have for neglecting my brand-new blog? All of the projects that she will inspire - including pretty dresses and other items of clothing, creative accessories, and of course, her scrapbook (which falls on the to-do list just below catching-up the 4-year-old's scrapbook!) And one day, I'll teach her everything I know - or, just tell her to read my blog :)
My Paper Work is scrapbooking, card-making, and other random paper crafts. The Stuff is all of the other crafty things I do, including sewing, cross-stitch, and crochet.
